Charlie Baker to lower greenhouse gas emissions by putting a fee on gasoline has suffered a major setback with both the governors of Connecticut and Vermont saying they are not in favor of a “gas tax” that punishes drivers. New Hampshire's governor has already said no to the proposal. Supporters say it’s necessary to help stomp climate change while critics say it is taxation without representation.
