Hurricane Helene was a category 4 hurricane when it first made landfall in northwestern Florida. The hurricane then made a destructive path up into Georgia, South Carolina, and parts of North Carolina and Tennessee. At least 215 people have died as a result of Helene and hundreds are still missing. Massachusetts Task Force 1, an urban search and rescue team, is deployed to North Carolina to assist with the disaster.
