When USC and UCLA join the Big Ten in 2024, the conference will unveil a new scheduling format. The current structure with two divisions will likely be a thing of the past, replaced by three protected annual opponents and a rotating schedule of every other conference team.

And depending on how the Big Ten decides to do that, it could have a major impact on how frequently the Buckeyes win the conference and earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.
