En: Right next to him stands Sofie.

En: she says.

Da: Lars griner, men bliver lidt utilpas.
En: Lars laughs, but becomes a bit uncomfortable.

Da: Han tænker pludselig over hele bunken af tilbehør på hans hotdog.
En: Suddenly, he starts thinking about the whole array of toppings on his hot dog.

Da: Er det rigtigt?
En: Is it true?

Da: Skader det hans helbred?
En: Does it harm his health?

En: "Sofie, it's just a hot dog," says Lars.

En: But deep in his mind, he is now more aware of his diet.

En: He looks at the large piece of sausage filled with fat and spices.

Da: Måske er Sofie rigtig?
En: Maybe Sofie is right?

Da: Sofie griber chancen.
En: Sofie seizes the chance.

Da: "Kom, Lars.
En: "Come on, Lars.

En: she says and pulls him away from the hot dog cart.

Da: Lars følger skuffet med hende.
En: Lars follows her disappointedly.

Da: De går videre i byen, skulder ved skulder.
En: They continue walking through the city, shoulder to shoulder.

Da: København er travl omkring dem.
En: Copenhagen is bustling around them.

Da: Cykler suser forbi, mens folk haster rundt, med hatten trukket ned over ørene.
En: Bicycles zoom past while people rush around, their hats pulled down over their ears.

Da: Lige da Lars begynder at føle sult igen, stopper Sofie uden for et lille, hyggeligt spisested.
En: Just as Lars starts to feel hungry again, Sofie stops outside a small, cozy eatery.

En: The windows are fogged up, but through them, one can see people sitting and enjoying a variety of dishes.

Da: Smørrebrød, fisk og grød.
En: Open sandwiches, fish, and porridge.

Da: Lars kan allerede mærke, at hans mave begynder at knurre.
En: Lars can already feel his stomach growl.

Da: Indenfor er det varmt og hyggeligt.
En: Inside, it is warm and cozy.

En: The air smells of toasted bread and spices.

En: Lars skeptically follows as Sofie orders two large open sandwiches.

Da: "Prøv det," opfordrer hun.
En: "Try it," she encourages.

Da: Lars gør som hun siger.
En: Lars does as she says.

Da: Han tager en bid.
En: He takes a bite.

Da: Så en til.
En: And then another.

Da: Det smager anderledes end hans vanlige hotdog.
En: It tastes different from his usual hot dog.

Da: Det smager frisk og sundt.
En: It tastes fresh and healthy.

En: He looks at Sofie with a new glimmer in his eye.

Da: "Hvad sagde jeg?
En: "What did I tell you?"

Da: " siger Sofie og smiler triumferende.
En: says Sofie, smiling triumphantly.

Da: Lars griner.
En: Lars laughs.

Da: Han indrømmer, at hun har ret.
En: He admits she is right.

Da: Det smager faktisk rigtig godt.
En: It actually tastes really good.

En: And he feels satisfied and content in a completely different way.

En: That is the end of their day in Copenhagen.

En: But it is the beginning of Lars' new path.

Da: Fra nu af er det sund kost for ham.
En: From now on, healthy food will be his choice.

En: Sofie has shown him that wellness doesn't mean sacrificing taste.

Da: Lars betaler regningen og takker Sofie for hendes råd.
En: Lars pays the bill and thanks Sofie for her advice.

En: He looks at her with newfound respect.

Da: Hun har vist ham, at man altid kan lære nyt.
En: She has shown him that there is always something new to learn.
