Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Get ready for an exciting wave update for Hawaii courtesy of the National Weather Service in Honolulu.

It looks like we've got a new medium-period NW swell rolling in tonight and into Tuesday, bringing peak swell heights near 4 feet. But don't get too attached, as it'll diminish and head more towards the North by Wednesday and Thursday. Also, keep an eye out for a small long-period SW swell that will be getting a boost from the SSW starting tonight and lingering into Wednesday, with peak swell heights near 3 feet. And mark your calendars because an even larger long-period S swell could be making waves next Sunday!

Let's break it down for some specific spots, shall we?

For Kauai, expect 2-4 feet on the North Facing shores tonight, building up to 5-7 feet on Tuesday. West and South facing shores will be in the 3-5 feet range, while East facing shores will be chillin' at 2-4 feet.

Moving over to Oahu, similar vibes with 2-4 feet on the North shore, 3-5 feet on West and South shores, and 2-4 feet on East shores. And remember, the UV index will be very high on Tuesday, so don't forget your sunscreen!

Heading to Maui, North-facing shores will see 2-4 feet tonight, building to 5-7 feet on Tuesday. West and South shores will be in the 2-4 to 5-7 feet range, while East shores keep it steady at 2-4 feet.

For the Big Island, Windward and Southeast, expect 2-4 feet on North and East facing shores tonight and into Tuesday, with South facing shores building up to 5-7 feet. Over on the Leeward side, West-facing shores will be 2-4 to 3-5 feet, while South-facing shores will range from 3-5 to 5-7 feet.

Remember, surf heights can vary, so keep an eye out for rip currents and stay safe out there!

Well, that's a wrap for your surf zone forecast in Hawaii. Get out there and catch some sweet waves! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
