Who is Daniel LaPlante? 

LaPlante, born in 1970, spent his childhood on Elm Street in Townsend, Massachusetts, a quaint town located near Boston. Even in his early years, he was perceived as an unusual child—long before he instigated fear in the Bowen family and committed the murders of the Gustafson family. Classmates and neighbors characterized him as anti-social and aggressive in an interview with the Boston Globe.
