In this episode we discuss the gun debate and the idea of what are true inalienable rights. We also discuss the language in the 2nd Amendment and discuss if it is outdated.
As the weeks roll on in the bizarre world that is our political landscape the question of healthcare still hangs in the loom. The fundamental question of whether healthcare is a right or a privilege seems to be the main dividing factor amongst conservatives and liberals. Amongst this turmoil comes the question of what are considered rights and what are considered privileges in The United States? One of the most fundamental rights that many Americans believe in is the 2nd Amendment or “the right to bear arms.”
With all that is happening on the domestic scene it becomes easy to forget the events that place on the world stage. It seems as if tension is starting to form on a serious level between the world powers. With North Korea testing its limits, China taking sides based on economics, the refugee crisis in Europe, Iran, the Middle East, and Donald Trump, it seems that the world may be heading for a showdown like no other.
