A small-town Alabama mayor died by suicide just days after a conservative blog site published pictures of him wearing hi wife's clothes and makeup. Smiths Station Mayor Fred "Bubba" Copeland, who was also a pastor at First Baptist Church of Phenix City, fatally shot himself during a police wellness check.
