The Azusa revival (1906 - 1909) is the birthplace of the Pentecostal-Charismatic influence in modern Christianity. This single revival has produced a movement which currently numbers over 279 million in classical Pentecostal denominations and Charismatic identifying believers around the world. In the beginning of this movement, the central figures were a teacher, Charles Parham; a pastor, William J. Seymour; and Frank Bartleman, a journalist. The Azusa meetings took place in a run-down building that held 30 people on pine benches set on nail kegs. Presented by Prophets Russ and Kitty Walden.
