They started with the Original Haunted Pub Tour and the Haunted St. Augustine Tour, which was the first paranormal investigative tour of the nation’s oldest city. They have since grown to offer a wide array of walking tours, such as the Haunted Romance and Dead Walk Tours. For those who want even more, they offer a walking-riding tour called Total Paranormal St. Augustine, and a 1-3 hour long ParaForce Tour: a paranormal investigation of different buildings of your choice.
They are also a leading world-wide seller and developer of Ghost Hunters Equipment and are behind the success of the famous K2 meter. 
JASON HAWES was drawn to the paranormal because of a personal experience at the age of 18. The experience changed him from a “total nonbeliever” into a believer and challenged his Catholic upbringing. He started researching the paranormal in order to understand more about it and about his experience, the details of which have remained private. 
Jason formed Rhode Island Paranormal in 1990 and after meeting Grant Wilson, changed its name to The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS). TAPS attracted an increasing number of requests for investigations and benefited from media publicity. The work and attention were instrumental in the selection of TAPS for the SciFi channel’s reality series, Ghost Hunters, which debuted in 2004 and became the flagship show of the Syfy Channel which made it one of the top watched channels on cable. He became a co-producer of the show which ended its initial run after its eleventh season on October 26, 2016.
Since then, Jason has produced and starred in the Ghost Nation series on Travel Channel and the reboot of Ghost Hunters on Discovery +.
Jason has now teamed with J.V. Johnson for a new YouTube paranormal series that emphasizes the grass roots of paranormal investigation.
