Génesis 8: No confíes en tu corazón.
Continuemos estudiando la vida de Noé y la historia impresionante del diluvio. Enfoquemos los últimos versos del capítulo, pero no olvides leerlo todo desde el principio.

Génesis 8:10-22 RVA2015:
10 Esperó aún otros siete días y volvió a enviar la paloma fuera del arca. 11 La paloma volvió a él al atardecer, y he aquí que traía una hoja verde de olivo en el pico. Así entendió Noé que las aguas habían disminuido sobre la tierra. 12 Esperó aún otros siete días y envió la paloma, la cual no volvió más a él.
13 Y sucedió que el primer día del mes primero del año seiscientos uno de Noé se secaron las aguas sobre la tierra. Noé quitó la cubierta del arca y miró, y he aquí que la superficie de la tierra estaba seca.
14 El día veintisiete del mes segundo quedó seca la tierra. 15 Entonces dijo Dios a Noé: 16 “Sal del arca tú, tu mujer, tus hijos y las mujeres de tus hijos contigo. 17 Saca todos los animales de toda clase que están contigo: las aves, el ganado y los reptiles que se desplazan sobre la tierra. Que se esparzan por la tierra, que sean fecundos y que se multipliquen sobre la tierra”.
18 Entonces salieron del arca Noé, sus hijos, su mujer y las mujeres de sus hijos con él, 19 y todos los animales, todos los reptiles, todas las aves y todo lo que se desplaza sobre la tierra, según sus familias.
20 Entonces edificó Noé un altar al SEÑOR, y tomando de todo cuadrúpedo limpio y de toda ave limpia, ofreció holocaustos sobre el altar.
21 El SEÑOR percibió el grato olor, y dijo el SEÑOR en su corazón: “No volveré jamás a maldecir la tierra por causa del hombre, porque el instinto del corazón del hombre es malo desde su juventud. Tampoco volveré a destruir todo ser viviente, como he hecho. 22 Mientras exista la tierra, no cesarán la siembra y la siega, el frío y el calor, el verano y el invierno, el día y la noche”.


Después de que Noé salió del arca, él ofreció una ofrenda de sacrificio al Señor en agradecimiento por haberlos librado de la muerte, pero también es una ofrenda de reconciliación con Dios, mostrando el deseo de comenzar una nueva vida con Dios, sometiéndose a su palabra y agradarle.
Dios recibe esta ofrenda y da una declaración que hoy debemos meditar en ella: El corazón del hombre está inclinado siempre al mal desde temprana edad.
Esta es una cruda realidad, pues debemos estar conscientes que en cualquier momento nuestro corazón nos puede engañar y podemos caer en alguna trampa del enemigo, engañándonos cuando muestra el pecado como algo divertido y agradable (Recuerda a Eva que cayó en la persuasión del enemigo).
Sin embargo, Dios no lo dijo en un contexto negativo. Al contrario, nos muestra que Dios tomó una decisión de compasión y misericordia, llegando a la resolución de que siempre el ser humano iba a preferir lo malo que lo bueno. Por eso, aquí vemos que Dios espera que abramos nuestros ojos para que lo busquemos y lo adoremos voluntariamente. Por eso, más adelante, vamos a ver que Dios ahora comienza a llamar individualmente a seres humanos como Abraham y a su descendencia, haciendo un pueblo santo en medio de una sociedad pervertida.

Como padres, debemos pedir mucha sabiduría al Señor en oración para instruir con prudencia y sagacidad a nuestros hijos. Debemos leer muchos libros y escuchar conferencias de autores cristianos acerca de la crianza de niños, adolescentes y jóvenes, pues constantemente están retando la autoridad, desobedeciendo las reglas y no escuchando los consejos, debido a la naturaleza del corazón.
Por eso, demos al Señor el control de nuestro corazón, guiemos a nuestro hogar para que todos rindamos nuestras vidas al Señor y, cuando venga la prueba, no nos dejemos guiar por los impulsos del corazón; más bien tomemos decisiones basadas en los principios bíblicos.
Recordemos las palabras que el Señor habló por medio de Jeremías. Es una pregunta y también la respuesta:
Jeremías 17:9-10: “Engañoso es el corazón, más que todas las cosas, y sin remedio. ¿Quién lo conocerá? Yo, el SEÑOR, escudriño el corazón y examino la conciencia, para dar a cada hombre según su camino y según el fruto de sus obras.”
Escudriñemos:
Estudia estos versos de proverbios acerca del corazón del hombre. Escoja uno para memorizarlo. Luego, escribe en tu cuaderno el significado con la técnica llamada PARAFRASEARLO.

Proverbios 16:9: “El corazón del hombre traza su camino, pero el SEÑOR dirige sus pasos.”

Proverbios 18:12: “Antes del quebrantamiento se enaltece el corazón del hombre, y antes de la honra está la humildad.”

Proverbios 21:2: “Todo camino del hombre es recto ante sus ojos, pero el SEÑOR es el que examina los corazones.”

Genesis 8: Don't trust your heart.
Let's continue studying the life of Noah and the amazing story of the flood. Let's focus on the last few verses of the chapter, but don't forget to read it all from the beginning.

Genesis 8:10-21 NKJV:
And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark. Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.
And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and indeed the surface of the ground was dry. And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.
Then God spoke to Noah, saying, “Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him. Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.”


After Noah came out of the ark, he offered a sacrificial offering to the Lord in gratitude for having delivered them from death, but it is also an offering of reconciliation with God, showing the desire to start a new life with God, submitting to His word and pleasing Him.
God receives this offering and gives a statement that we must meditate on today: The heart of man is always inclined to evil from an early age.
This is a harsh reality, because we must be aware that at any time our heart can deceive us and we can fall into some trap of the enemy, deceiving us when he shows sin as something fun and pleasant (Remember Eva who fell into the enemy's perception).
However, God did not say it in a negative context. On the contrary, it shows us that God made a decision of compassion and mercy, coming to the resolution that human beings would always prefer the bad to the good. Therefore, here we see that God expects us to open our eyes so that we willingly seek and worship Him. That's why, later on, we will see that God now begins to individually call human beings like Abraham and his descendants, making a holy people in the midst of a perverted society.

As parents, we must ask the Lord in prayer for a lot of wisdom to instruct our children with prudence and sagacity. We must read many books and listen to conferences by Christian authors about raising children, teens and young people, because they are constantly challenging authority, disobeying rules and not listening to advice, due to the nature of the heart.
Therefore, let's give the Lord our hearts, let’s guide our home so that we all surrender our lives to the Lord and, when the test comes, let’s not be guided by the impulses of the heart; rather let’s make decisions based on biblical principles.
Let’s remember the words that the Lord spoke through Jeremiah. It is a question and also the answer:
Jeremiah 17:9-10: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

Let scrutinize:
Study these proverb verses about the heart of man. Choose one to memorize. Then, write in your notebook the meaning with the technique called PARAPHRASE IT.

Proverbs 16:9: “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”

Proverbs 18:12: “Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility.”

Proverbs 21:2: “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts.”
