From the first recorded sexual assault and kidnapping case in the Bible, we meet Dinah- the daughter of Jacob and Leah. While we never hear her perspective from this gruesome experience, we are offered a glimpse into the mentality among the people of Canaan. What congruences do we find in this chapter and in chapter six?
Is God absent as all of this is taking place? Or is it possible that He was the driving force which led Simeon and Levi to come forth "boldly"?
