According to a report from Berenberg Research, Gen Z drinks less alcohol per capita than millennials did at their age. The report also shows that millennials drink less than both Gen X and Baby Boomers.
Part of the reason for the decline in drinking is that Gen Z appear to be more cautious than older generations, both in terms of their health and how their peers perceive them.
Gen Z is also choosing not to drink alcohol at all or drinking less often than older generations.
