Right as the show begins, the trade deadline has passed with a number of moves taking place with moments left. Of note, the Mariners have moved Roenis Elias and Hunter Strickland, sending them to the Nationals for a few prospects. Mike Leake was also traded, in his case to the Diamondbacks. With nothing happening at the VMAC, and today being trade deadline day in baseall, we decided to take another tour of the Mariners farm system to see how prospects are progressing. We start out with David Kahn, updating us on the West Virginia Power who have seen a number of roster moves in the last few weeks. West Virginia moved a couple of its pitchers to Modesto in all of the roster moves. We find out how they're preforming from Keaton Gillogly, plus an update on Kelenic and more. The M's' top two picks in 2019 have landed in Everett. Pat Dillon tells us how the two pitchers are doing, plus other updates from the short-season level.
