Story Transcript:

Cy: Yng nghanol haf cynnes yng nghanolbarth Cymru, roedd pentref bach tawel yn gorwedd yn nyffryn gweirgloddiau gwyrddlas.
En: In the midst of a warm summer in mid-Wales, a small, quiet village lay in a valley of lush meadows.

Cy: Yn y pentref, roedd ffermdai cymreig traddodiadol yn hyfryd a chartrefol.
En: In the village, traditional Welsh farmhouses were both charming and homely.

Cy: Yn agos at ganol y pentref, roedd pobyddfa fechan gyda ffenestri golau lle roedd arogl o fara ffres yn llenwi'r awyr.
En: Near the center of the village, there was a small bakery with bright windows where the aroma of fresh bread filled the air.

Cy: Roedd Eleri yn gweithio yn y pobyddfa hon, ac roedd pawb yn y pentref yn gwybod am ei thalent.
En: Eleri worked in this bakery, and everyone in the village knew about her talent.

Cy: Roedd Eleri'n gyfrifolgar a gweithgar.
En: Eleri was responsible and hardworking.

Cy: Dechreuai'r gwaith yn gynnar bob bore, yn yfed cwpanaid o de a rhedeg i lawr i'r pobyddfa cyn y wawr.
En: She started work early every morning, drinking a cup of tea and running down to the bakery before dawn.

Cy: Ond roedd Eleri yn cuddio breuddwyd, dymuniad sy'n hafalu yn ei chalon bob dydd.
En: But Eleri harbored a dream, a wish that echoed in her heart every day.

Cy: Roedd am weld y byd, symud ymhellach na'i phentref bach.
En: She wanted to see the world, to move beyond her small village.

Cy: Roedd am deithio i fannau nad oedd hi erioed wedi dychmygu.
En: She wanted to travel to places she had never imagined.

Cy: Ond roedd ofn ar Eleri.
En: But Eleri was afraid.

Cy: Roedd teulu hi'n dibynnu arni, ac roedd y pentref yn gwerthfawrogi ei gwaith.
En: Her family depended on her, and the village valued her work.

Cy: Sut allai hi adael popeth?
En: How could she leave everything behind?

Cy: Roedd hyn yn unrhyw rywbeth roedd hi'n ystyried yn ddyddiol.
En: This was something she considered daily.

Cy: Un diwrnod, tra roedd Eleri yn pobi croissant gyda gofal llawn, clywodd sŵn y drws yn agor.
En: One day, while Eleri was carefully baking a croissant, she heard the sound of the door opening.

Cy: Draig, y llythyrdydd pentref, oedd yn dod gyda llythyr.
En: Draig, the village postman, was coming with a letter.

Cy: Roedd hwn yn edrych yn wahanol i'r arfer.
En: This one looked different from usual.

Cy: Doedd dim stamp lleol arno.
En: It had no local stamp.

Cy: Roedd o'r moroedd pell.
En: It was from distant seas.

Cy: Roedd y llythyr yn cynnig cyfle unigryw – swydd fel patissièr ar long fordaith enwog.
En: The letter offered a unique opportunity—a job as a pâtissière on a famous cruise ship.

Cy: Roedd calon Eleri'n curo'n gyflym wrth ddarllen y llythyr.
En: Eleri's heart raced as she read the letter.

Cy: Roedd hon yn ei siawns i fyw ei breuddwydion.
En: This was her chance to live her dreams.

Cy: Roedd y penderfyniad yn anodd.
En: The decision was difficult.

Cy: Ai tyfu'n fwy diogelwch neu fentro'r anhysbys?
En: Should she stay in the safety of what she knew or venture into the unknown?

Cy: Am noswaith hir, meddylodd Eleri.
En: For a long night, Eleri thought.

Cy: Yna, cododd ohoni a dechrau ysgrifennu llythyr i’w theulu.
En: Then, she rose and started writing a letter to her family.

Cy: Yn y llythyr, eglurodd Eleri ei hysbryd anturus, ei hangerdd am bobi, a’i dymuniad i weld y byd.
En: In the letter, Eleri explained her adventurous spirit, her passion for baking, and her desire to see the world.

Cy: Roedd am i’w teulu wybod mai nid oedd am y drefn o alw heibio, ond ei hanghofraid i ganfod rhywbeth mwy.
En: She wanted her family to know she wasn’t abandoning them but needed to discover something more.

Cy: Y bore wedyn, cododd Eleri yn gynnar fel bob amser, ond yn lle cerdded i'r pobyddfa, cychwynodd hi i'r gorsaf fysiau.
En: The next morning, Eleri got up early as usual, but instead of walking to the bakery, she headed to the bus station.

Cy: Gadawodd y llythyr ar y tŷ, ac wrth ffarwelio â'r pentref, roedd hi'n teimlo cymysgedd o gyffro ac ofn.
En: She left the letter at the house, and as she bid farewell to the village, she felt a mixture of excitement and fear.

Cy: A felly dechreuodd Eleri ei hantur newydd dros y moroedd, gyda’r syniad pendant i ganfod ei lle yn y byd a llwyddo ym mhopeth a wnai.
En: And so, Eleri began her new adventure across the seas, with a firm idea to find her place in the world and to succeed in everything she did.

Cy: Byddai bob amser gartref yn ei chalon, ond roedd hi'n barod i wynebu'r heriau newydd a ddaw o flaen ei ffordd.
En: She would always have home in her heart, but she was ready to face the new challenges ahead.

Cy: Ac felly, wrth i'r bws symud ymlaen, edrychodd Eleri yn ôl unwaith fwy.
En: As the bus moved forward, Eleri looked back one more time.

Cy: Roedd hi'n gwybod fod y pentref yn gyndyn ond deallgar o’i dewisiad.
En: She knew the village was reluctant but understanding of her choice.

Cy: Roedd hi wedi dewis dilyn ei breuddwydion, a hynny gyda breichiau agored i'r dyfodol llachar a oedd yn ei disgwyl.
En: She had chosen to follow her dreams, with open arms to the bright future awaiting her.
