In Part Two, we saw that Benson raised the double specter of disinformation and AI as potential weapons that would destroy democracy, as we dove into the details of her Congressional testimony. Simultaneously, we saw the media repeat the mantra “disinformation is putting us at risk” as they flooded social media and the internet with stories that supported Benson’s supposition. This worked to distract the public from the fact that the Office of Auditor General in Michigan was now under the threat of defunding by the governor and her supporters.

In Part Three Zee continues with the activities that Jocelyn Benson has carried out in defiance of several court orders.  Benson’s refusal to purge the voter rolls of inappropriate registrations puts our elections at risk.  Benson’s order to the county clerks to ignore signature verification in favor of expediency during the election destroys the chain of custody required for an audit.  Sadly Michigan Republicans believe the charges of misinformation issued by Benson and ignore the efforts of Kristina Karamo and former state senator Patrick Colbeck as they continue to expose extreme discrepancies in voting procedures, data collection and administration.
