Da: Lars var på vej til arbejde på sin cykel, da hans kæde pludselig sprang af.
En: Lars was on his way to work on his bike when his chain suddenly snapped off.
Da: Han skulle have været på kontoret kl. 9, så han var desperat.
En: He should have been in the office at 9, so he was desperate.
Da: Kirsten cyklede forbi og tilbød at skifte cykler med ham.
En: Kirsten cycled past and offered to switch bikes with him.
Da: Hun beklagede, at hun kun havde sin mors cykel med en kurv foran og en kæde, der knirker.
En: She lamented that she only had her mother's bicycle with a front basket and a squeaky chain.
Da: De skiftede cykler og fortsatte mod centrum af København.
En: They changed bikes and continued towards the center of Copenhagen.
Da: Undervejs grinte de højt og jokede over den mærkelige kobling, de havde på cyklerne.
En: Along the way they laughed out loud and joked about the strange coupling they had on the bikes.
Da: Forsøgte at mane tilbage de fortabte smil i en travl verden.
En: Tried to call back the lost smiles in a busy world.
