Leslie is joined by Laura Huizar, Staff Attorney at the National Employment Law Project (NELP).

The two discuss the nationwide protests taking place in 340 cities across the United States today in the 'Fight For 15.' The protests for higher pay, union rights and immigration reform are FightFor15's first major action since Donald Trump was elected president.

Prior to joining NELP, Laura was a Marvin M. Karpatkin Fellow with the American Civil Liberties Union’s Racial Justice Program.

She also completed an Equal Justice Works Fellowship at Latino Justice, where she represented low-wage immigrant workers in litigation and assisted community groups seeking policy change.
