Story Transcript:

It: Era una splendida giornata di sole a Roma.
En: It was a beautiful sunny day in Rome.

It: Mario era appena arrivato in città e la sua prima meta era il Colosseo.
En: Mario had just arrived in the city and his first destination was the Colosseum.

It: Decise di andare a piedi per poter godere appieno della bellezza dell'antica città.
En: He decided to go on foot in order to fully enjoy the beauty of the ancient city.

It: Ma presto si accorse di aver preso una strada sbagliata e si trovò completamente perso.
En: But he soon realized he had taken a wrong turn and found himself completely lost.

It: Sbagliando vicolo dopo vicolo, Mario iniziò a sentirsi sempre più frustrato.
En: Taking the wrong alley after alley, Mario began to feel more and more frustrated.
