And then we get a bird's eye view of martyrdoms involving the weakest among Christians. Ten people abdicated their faith bringing great discouragement to the others, but then a demure woman by the name of Blandina took a supernatural beating that shocked and dismayed the men torturing her. Who afterwards confessed they could do nothing to make her die and they were surprised she was still breathing. Revealing that the weakest among Christians who cry out to God with every blow, receive his grace and mercy in their time of need.
