Erratic Woman Goes Berserk, Attacks Deputies During Arrest!
On March 6th, 2023, deputies in Florida responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the deputy saw a woman hyperventilating near a parked car while her mother stood nearby. Paramedics were called to evaluate her. Before their arrival, her brother approached, prompting the woman to run aggressively towards him and throw his bicycle to the ground. A deputy intervened, attempting to detain her due to her erratic behavior. She resisted, scratching the deputy and another responding deputy who arrived to assist.
As the situation escalated, the woman continued to resist detention, resulting in a struggle during which she struck one of the deputies in the face. Despite her efforts to evade capture, the deputies managed to place her in handcuffs. The suspect was evaluated by paramedics and cleared medically before being taken into custody. The incident drew additional law enforcement to the scene to assist with the volatile situation.
Throughout the encounter, the woman exhibited aggressive behavior, leading to injuries to the deputies involved. The suspect was ultimately transported to the county jail. The suspect was charged with two counts of Resisting An Officer With Violence and Domestic Battery.
