Imagine being on the same page with your romantic partner regarding your cycle. Yeah, he knows when you’re on your period, that’s great, but it’s WAY more than that. What if he knew exactly which part of your cycle you were in and how that typically affects your mood or energy? What if you both knew your intentions for family planning and knew how to use your cycle information to avoid or achieve pregnancy? What if communicating about your cycle helped you be even more connected on an emotional level?
My course co-creator Sophie Krupp and I are here to tell you that it truly is possible. Not only that, but it can be simple to talk to your partner about your cycle.
Here are some of the take-aways from this week’s episode:
-The #1 benefit of using cycle tracking in your romantic relationship is increased communication between you and your partner
-With cycle tracking, you are a team, neither one of you needs to feel pressure
-”Cycle tracking is another layer of having a relationship that feels comfortable and connected”
-Use your cycle as a tool for a healthy relationship
-”It’s such a gift to have my partner know [my patterns]”
-Cycle tracking is useful to improve your relationship with yourself too
-”We’re not supposed to show up the same every day”
