TRACK TITLE: “16 Horses” The My Peace River project, created by Jody Peck (Miss Quincy) and Jodie Ponto, is a multimedia snapshot of the people, stories, and life in the Peace Valley area of British Columbia Canada.  This area is threatened by the construction of a hydro-electric dam. The purpose of My Peace River project is to bring awareness to the region. It is a collaboration between everyone who has a connection to Peace Valley and forms a cohesive picture of what stands to be lost forever if the Site C dam is constructed. Site C is a disastrous plan to build a giant dam in the Peace River Valley of northeastern BC. It’s  an $8.8 billion project that will flood 83 km of farmland, drown wildlife habitat, and trample indigenous rights — all to supply electricity for dirty tar sands extraction and fracking. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has chosen to go against the wishes of First Nations people and will support this disastrous plan.
