For this Week’s Episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto has a moment of reflection after traveling to New York and Washington DC for the National Day of Prayer. This Stop included a visit with Harris Faulkner on Faulkner Focus on Fox News and Kyle Reyes of Law Enforcement Today. During his stop in Washington DC, Art notes he did not see any protesters during that visit. With some time on his hands, he visits the Ford Theater as well as the Law Enforcement Museum and tells us what he saw there. He also was able to take in the Entertainment portion of the Smithsonian Museum. His time in DC wrapped after a stop at the Lincoln Memorial where he wondered about the future of the youth of the country after overhearing a school field trip also observing the Statue of President Abraham Lincoln, A student asked if if the Statue was the Actual Size of President Lincoln.
Art talks about the glimmer of hope with a story this week of the American Flag protected by students at Chapel Hill North Carolina, UNC during a pro-Palestinian rally. Similar rallies have taken place throughout the country and Art shares the ironies of this.
Brandon Judd, the President of the National Border Patrol Council has announced his retirement from the Council. Art shares his thoughts on Ethics, Accomplishments and Work for the Agents over the years as well as the friendship they have formed over that time. Art speculates what could be ahead including the day he will decide to step back.
Art talks about an Interview with a Tucson Division Chief in a NPR Story yet would not make a comment regarding the current administration. While so much of the media is focusing on other stories, the Problems at the Borders still exist, In the Month of April for Tucson Sector were over 30,000 encounters and an estimated 200 gotaways per day. There has been a 6000% increase of those from China also crossing into the United States.
