In this episode of the Black Power Revisited Podcast, Cliff Albright is joined by social justice leader, movement strategist and activist Tamika Mallory, co-founder of Until Freedom. She is the author of Stae of Emergency and co-host of the Street Politicians podcast. Tamika spoke with Cliff about how her upbringing equipped her with the skills to take on movement building. They also discussed defunding police, reimaging public safety, and how communities build Black power. Tamika previously served as the youngest ever Executive Director of the National Action Network and was a co-chair of the 2017 Women's March on Washington.
