As far as escapism, I experienced that same Rollercoaster of emotion my first trip to Jamaica.
It went from the feeling of yes this was much needed, to being back and feeling down about your reality, to finally understanding how to make space for your own self-care in every day life. It is a vital part of developing that inner peace. Another major part of that development that you talked about is understanding there's nothing wrong with being who you are even in spaces where others might prefer you in another form. Being your truest self is the greatest form of freedom. I'm excited to learn more about the real unfiltered you. The most successful people in podcasting are those who are unafraid to express themselves freely. They have an ability to connect with an audience because we no longer want the romanticized versions of controversial topics. We have movies for that. We want substantive opinion that we can relate to. You have all the makings of a star. Just remain true to who you are.
