In 1993, Autumn began working as a patrol officer for the Lynnwood Police Department which is located just north of Seattle. Autumn worked there for 3 years before transferring to the Bellevue Police Department. During her career, Autumn worked as a Detective in the Special Victims Unit where she investigated crimes such as homicide, domestic assaults, and sexual assaults. Autumn started to be promoted through the department and held the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. During this time, she was in charge of departments such as Human Resources, Personnel Services, and Recruiting. Autumn retired in 2023 and is currently a Senior Recruitment Specialist for the Seattle Police Department.
