Susan has worked at the University of Vermont in the Rehabilitation and Movement Science Department for the past 25 years. Her work focuses on including people with disabilites and chronic conditions in exercise and physical activity programs. She has been involved in creating community programs for people with M.S., Parkinsons, as well as helping to provide personal training for young adults with intellectual disabilities.
Our conversation consists of these programs, how exercise is a medicine for everyone, and the key aspects to helping those with neurological conditions.
