Hosted by Paul C. Cuthbert and Robert Kuney,
The Honchos were back and more hydrated than ever this week after taking off last week. The tanned, rested, and ready Honchos opened the show with cicada talk, gas shortage talk, a salute to Andre the Giant, and why critics of Disneyland's new Snow White have proved that we all take a deep breath once in a while.
The pouch of sports was unzipped and the NHL/NBA/MLB segment spilled out as the Honchos tackled the NHL playoffs, the NBA playoffs, the Clippers taking a dive to end the regular season, the 2021 Basketball Hall of Fame class and the surprising story of Ben Wallace, the retirement of Marv Albert after more than a half century of calling games, and the epic beef between former number one overall pick Kwame Brown and, well, everyone. They did not forget about baseball; the Honchos discussed Albert Pujols' third act with the Dodgers and the Oakland A's possible relocation.
After the weekly Deshaun Watson lawsuit update, the Honchos talked about Bob Baffert's suspension from Belmont Park and Kenny Mayne leaving ESPN.
The show came to its usual rip-roaring conclusion with the Dope of the Week. This week's winner was Jimbo Fisher, head football coach at Texas A&M University.
