The sack of sports was ripped open with a lengthy discussion of Hideki Matsuyama's historic Masters win and the many storylines that came from this victory.
The NHL/NBA/MLB segment featured the NHL trade deadline winners, Toronto and Washington, the NHL delaying the playoffs to make up the games Vancouver missed due to Covid, and a spirited debate on replay in the MLB based on a Ken Rosenthal article in The Athletic.
The NFL Recap started with another update on the Deshaun Watson lawsuits before giving way to the retirement of Julian Edelman and why it is more than just a football story. The segment ended with the Bills welcoming 100% attendance this coming season and the unusual choice to play Sean Payton in an upcoming Netflix movie.
