I wasn't be blasé about any of this....just the reality that most of us won't have the choice to take it for a long time yet. I am Very Concerned about those who will take the vaccine now in the first wave.

The big help in all of this is that it won't be available to the general public until next summer -- we'll know a lot more by then.

One of my friends is an RN in Philly hospital and he's been told they have to take the vaccine when it comes. He is HIGHLY ALLERGIC to eggs and won't be able to take it if it has egg in it like the flu vaccines do

Makes no sense whatsoever." --- This vaccine's development was not funded with any warp speed money, so I'm guessing that the cheeto was hoping that it wouldn't pan out, plus he knew he would get less credit if it did pan out anyway's it's just a thought

They might make it mandatory to travel or to receive care. Just a theory but I could see it happening.

It is stupid IMO to push Pfizer, because of the cold storage issues and the huge problems if the vaccine is not stored properly. Much better to use Moderna, which does not have that requirement

David, Moderna had 30,000 in the test. I think you said 3,000.

Lets talk about cold storage capabilites to store at -90 & -50 degree and an extremely short self life. The logistics is gonna be extremely difficult. Researched a bit about cold storage construction and the article said companies were months behind on the orders.

Michael, I was watching MSNBC when that news broke...The Fool demanded that FDA Chair approve it on FRIDAY. It was likely to be approved on Saturday anyway!!! So stupid power grab by The Fool...as always.

And there is not enough vaccine for the general public -- not expected to be available until summer of 2021!! So we all need to mask up, social distance, avoid large gatherings, wash hands...etc...!!!

I agree, Michael -- I think it would be smarter to vaccinate ONLY 25% of healthcare workers in any given health care system....wait 3 months before doing the next group, etc.

Moderna reported 30,000 in their test group. Not sure what's up with AstraZeneca they've had all kinds of screw ups during the test.

I think, stress think that Pfzier had a total of 44,000 in the test and would assume 1/2 were in the placebo control group.
