Your McHonchos were magically delicious tonight as they paid tribute to St. Patrick's Day as only the Sports Honchos can. The opening of the show was filled with Irish music, Irish culture, a look at St. Patrick's Day myths, misconceptions, and odd traditions (snake races!), and the most popular superstition in each state.

The Irish stew of sports started with the Honchos filling out their March Madness brackets. Tear up your other brackets friendos!

In the NHL/NBA/MLB segment the Honchos discussed the firing of Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger and why the Sabres have fallen on such hard times, Alex Ovechkin's historic night, the Rangers losing their entire coaching staff to Covid, the season-ending injury to Islanders captain Anders Lee, LeBron James becoming a part owner of the Red Sox, and experimental rules changes in the minor leagues that may make their way to the MLB.

The NFL Recap ran down the start of the league year and the free agency moves around the NFL. Who stayed? Who changed teams? The Honchos spun the QB carousel once again and touched on the massive trade offer from the Bears for Russell Wilson that the Seahawks rejected. After a tribute to the retiring Drew Brees, the Honchos examined the lawsuit against Deshaun Watson and the wacky new OT rule proposed by the Baltimore Ravens.

As the Honchos reached the end of tonight's sports rainbow, they paid tribute to the passing of Marvelous Marvin Hagler, updated last week's story about the Arlington (TN) HS girls basketball team, and applauded the social justice position of Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

We wrapped up the extravaganza with the Dope of the Week, Todd Jackson, head of security for Madison Square Garden.
