Do you feel competitive or jealous sometimes? Do you find yourself wanting to win more often?
Then this episode is for you. I talk about why we are so competitive, how it impacts us and how best can we deal with this in way that serves us to live a more meaningful life.
While competitiveness has been useful in some ways as it has helped us strive for excellence and is responsible for a lot of fast paced progress in our society and our improved quality of life, it also sometimes keep us limited especially when we don’t deliberately decide which races to compete in.
I have been extremely competitive since I can remember. Whether it was getting top grades in school, to getting best job at campus, to getting top rating and bonus, I always wanted to win.
This competitiveness struck me again when I started my life coaching practice. When I would look at success of my peers, I was making it mean I was failing. When I noticed how this type or thinking was limiting me, I changed it by shifting to a more abundant mindset and it has helped me feel so much more authentic, alive and purposeful.
Tune in to know my story of turning my competitiveness into abundance.
