Wow! This is an eye opener. I had to go check the difference between accent and diction. I never knew there was a difference until now. I learnt quite a few things; one of the promulgators of inferiority complex in young children emanates from accent, trying to be a different person in a different skin. It's imperative we speak well but do not pick up accents that aren't ours. Accents doesn't mean you're more educated; it just a unique expression of a common language.
