With so many companies out there how do you decide what would work best for you?
The 3 accepted companies for healthcare providers are The American Safety Health Institute (ASHI), The American Heart Association (AHA), and The American Red Cross (ARC). These are the premier training companies that provide emergency training classes.
-CPR/AED
-Basic First Aid
-Basic Life Support (BLS) for hethcare providers
-Emergency Medical Response (EMR)
-Wilderness 1st aid.
With all the different choices, seeking quality training is important. In Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding counties, we hope you pick us.
Check out BuckeyeCPR training.com, we are an Ashi training company.
Today's episode I will be discussing equivalency training to the American Heart Association. Clients looking for certification often say they only accept the American Heart Association BLS course.
I discuss in this Podcast how that is completely inaccurate that is. The Ohio division of EMS and Ohio revised code outlines the training requirements for medical personnel & health care providers.
In that publication it lists the 3 companies accepted for healthcare providers. They are the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and the American Safety Health Institute. All 3 have equal accreditation for BLS. Where ASHI stands out, we offer 4.25 CE hours via CAPCE.
While portraying the only agency, the AHA classes are often super expensive. Being told you can only do this certain class is not a great way to have the freedom to choose a company that meets your needs.
All 3 AHA, ASHI, ARC have euivalency trainings and are governed by the ECC. The courses have many different pricing options. Our basic life support class is $50. The ARC & AHA classes often run $80-$100.
We offer a unprecedented Patriot discount for military, veterans, police, fire, EMS and that brings your cost you $37.50. We also offer 4.25 continuing education hours through CAPCE.
Check out the many options available and we hope you pick Buckeye CPR Training.com. Group discounts and monthly promotions are available and posted on our google page which has 5 stars!
