But they bravely push forward and begin to talk about Krysta and her day and then we discuss a rough 3 months in Durban South Africa in 1957 and '58. During those three months starting in December of 1957, whaling, floods, and storms added to a boom in resorts led to 9 shark attacks leading to several deaths. Because sharks were not well understood, their attempts to curb the problem only led to more problems. So join us as we discuss these several months in South Africa whem several mostly unknown species of sharks created problems that led to injuries and a loss of life for several vacationers and tourists in Durban's resorts!
