The first days of a vol biv from Haute Provence to Disentis (hopefully) remind me of the advantage of gliding over paragliding - a wider weather envelope! Like the first day with Jean Francois where winds were 20kt and thermals were chopped to bits with a fairly low cloud base but we happily flew for hours, always in glide of the airfield.
