The Charterhouse, a monastery from the 14th century and a birth place of world fame school with alumni such as William Thackeray, Robert Baden-Powell and John Wesley, has featured in the writings of Charles Dickens and Daniel Defoe. It is one of the biggest mysteries of London.

There are more than 50,000 people buried under it. New facts emerge as Charterhouse opens its doors to public after almost 660 years. And, it has an Indian connection, too. Rakesh Mathur, first and only Indian resident at Charter House, invites Pervaiz Alam to visit its most sought after premises. Adapted from a Cine Ink video, recorded outdoor in London, 2018.
