The Nearlies trudge through the legendary swamp of sorrows, trying to find Kel, her quarry and the Princess they seek to capture. They do their best not to catch the nightmarish, uniform depression that seeps into the world around them. In the bookends, we hear a tale of sorrow from one of Faritall’s mirrored worlds, Iscra in the Light.
