He shared how his passion of cinema was sparked by a hood classic on bootleg and a surprise celebrity interaction with a hip hop icon who he found out was a fan of his work. We also discussed the optics of what occurred this week in Washington DC with the attempted coup of Capitol Hill. We broke down the display of white and American privilege and the danger that could ensue going forward. This episode was one of real and honest dialogue.
