Welcome to the 3rd episode [no. 28] of Series 2 of the 'NoSoKoPo' and in this show we hear from Jay when he was in South Korea & in particular about his slightly restricted arrival in Incheon International Airport to his then arriving, a few hours later at his 'close to Ikseon-dong*' accomodation and therefore in the Jongno area of Seoul.

Jay's somewhat "long, winding" journey - and 'long-winded' story to match - touches on everything from getting hold of a sim-card, transportation options, passing through immigration, luggage issues, money, masks and a whole lot more.

It's worth pointing out that certain requirements or restrictions relating to travelling to South Korea will have changed since this was recorded (which was in the latter part of 2022) but much of what Jay has to say can still be applicable.

*This was almost unbeknown to Jay [his precise proximity to the that hanok-ridden area (aka Ikseondong Hanok Village / 익선동 한옥거리)] and this was perhaps Jason's first experience of such Ikseon-dong streets. You may hear more about this in a future Not So Korean Podcast show -and perhaps as a kind of 'Part 2' of to this episode - if only to hear Jay's realisation of his very close proximity to Changdeokgung Palace (창덕궁) and Changgyeonggung Palace (창경궁)!
