A close friend of mine, who also happens to be one of the greatest bass players I've ever done a recording with, also happens to be related to the singer of Vaerisa. Tim made the connection and here we are. It turns out that the band is far more than some nepotistic recommendation, but one of pure talent and joyful introspection.

Amazingly melodic and purely symphonic in its singularity, Vaerisa has tapped into the musical works that inspired them, and yet they remain wholly original and powerful.

We had a fantastic time talking today, communing over silly stories and the odd way in which they found each other, literally 8000 miles apart.
