Elsa Schiaparelli has been an icon and a designer, known for creating the shocking pink hue and the zip. She was the first female designer to grace the cover of Time magazine, in 1934, photographed by Man Ray. The well-known children’s book author Elena Favilli wrote a story on Elsa Schiaparelli featured in the June issue of Vogue Italia, entirely dedicated to children.
This Fall the writer, 37, will release “Storie della buonanotte per bimbe ribelli. 100 donne migranti che hanno cambiato il mondo” (published in Italy by Mondadori), a book centered around the lives of women who have traveled the world, looking for fortune and freedom. Text by Elena Favilli, narrated by Paola Corazza, curated by Elisa Pervinca Bellini.
