It’s eCare Takeover Week! Get ready for an inside look at eCare, our very own Electronic Patient Record set to launch in 2025.  

This system will bring several of our digital and paper-based systems together, giving us the most up-to-date patient information; allowing us to spend more time delivering seamless and safer care. Join us today to hear from a number of different people involved in the eCare program. 

(0:38) We are joined by Simon McCreary who is the eCare Programme Director here at RCHT. He will be telling us a bit about his background and role at the Hospital, and some more information about the Electronic Patient Record.

(13:07) Over at the Kedhlow Building, Pete and I spoke to a number of eCare staff about what role they played in the rollout of the system and what an average day looks like for a member of the team.

(23:05) We've got Will back in the studio, who is an integral part of the eCare Communications team. He will be sharing with us one of the unique activities happening within the Hospital as part of eCare week celebrations.

(34:00) This week as part of Filipino Cultural Appreciation Month, Febbom Mandawe shares advice for new colleagues coming to work in Cornwall. Febbom also talks about the OSCE exam and how events like the Filipino Cultural Appreciation Month help to highlight common values and goals.
