Our final week of our Sports Febstival was the perfect pick-six! Former consensus All-Big Ten safety, in 2008, for the Michigan State Spartans, Otis Wiley joins the Lounge! The guys had a barrage of questions for Otis! What was your pregame prep, What do you remember the most fondly, What was it like playing at Notre Dame Stadium as a visitor, Did the Flint-stones impress on you the appeal of Michigan State growing up, Do you REALLY know the soundtrack to the Bubble Guppies? We hit hard with the types of questions asked, here in the Lounge!
The guys also talk to him about the work he does at Learfield IMG College at the NCAA! Otis works on the marketing aspect of a couple of groups who are very involved with the NCAA, and he shared a little bit of info about his company and its involvement with a video game that will be returning soon!
Then the guys talked to Otis about his OTHER job, which he does every fall... coaches high school football! Otis is leaving a school that went to the state finals, to coach at an inner-city Indianapolis school. He shares his coaching philosophy, what he learned from his career helping him in his coaching, and what drives him! It's PACKED! Otis was fantastic, and we hope to have him back sometime!
