This introductory episode features Dr. John Sanders along with his wife, Shaunna, and psychologist Mark Mauzy, discussing the adventure of starting a direct primary care clinic. Direct Primary Care as a model of healthcare delivery is gaining traction across the United States, in spite of, or perhaps because of, its grassroots, hyper-local nature. John talks about the experiences that drove him to chart a different course in healthcare and the ways that the direct care model has enabled him to deliver better medical care to the clients he serves.
