Using the excuse of "an abundance of caution" the state governments in the USA have taken unprecedented steps to strip freedoms from American citizens and our businesses. Rather than providing guidelines to businesses to provide safe distancing in light of COVID19 and then enforcing those guidelines, the governments have taken control in shutting down businesses at will which will lead to mass bankruptcies and long-term loss of jobs. While these measures may or may not prevent us from contracting and spreading the virus, our freedoms should have been honored and let the American Citizens take actions to protect themselves and their communities. Is this a mass abuse of power? We discuss is Mike DeSwine has overstepped the power of his office.
