True Rockers in the industry, Monster Truck has gotten high praise from many successful artists including Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Alice In Chains and more. Jeremy Widerman of Monster Truck is the special guest on episode 64 of the DOMKcast with Lunchbox and Promo Brady. The band is out of Canada but have a unique blend of southern rock. How did that come about and who were some of their influences growing up? The care free guys from Monster Truck don’t have an astounding story on how they got their name. Just a couple of dudes sitting around getting drunk one night. During an enthralling conversation about music, they joked about making a band named Monster Truck. The rest is history.

New album “True Rockers” is due out September 14th. Title track is the lead single and features Dee Snider on guest vocals midway through the song. The band got connected with him in Toronto while Dee was working on a Broadway play. He became an instant fan of Monster Truck and has been championing them ever since. Maybe we’ll get Dee Snider on the DOMKcast soon. The band plans on touring extensively in support of the new album later this year and into 2019.

Recently played the Download Festival across the pond in Europe in front of hundred’s of thousands of people. Rock is the king format over there. Why is that? How long do you think until rock music becomes king again in the states? Jeremy Widerman answers those questions and more on episode 64 of the DOMKcast.
