When people hear me say Im not black they instantly call me an Uncle Tom. And, even though I would take that as a compliment, it is clear that it was not delivered with that intent. Which tells me that, even though I love my people, it tells me all that I need to know.
MY PEOPLE PERSIH FROM LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
First, Uncle Tom was a hero in his narrative Uncle Toms Cabin, for he FOUGHT THE WHITE MAN TO KEEP HIS LAND AND HOME. Sambo was Massas Bitch.
And on that same narrative, WE WASN'T BLACK until the self proclaimed "WHITE" man said we were black.
So, I would like to show that even though we think we are free, we still cling to the badges of slavery that identified us as a SLAVE. BLACK NEGRO AND COLORED.
