Deuteronomio 22: Dios mira los pequeños detalles.

Deuteronomio 22:1‭-‬8 RVA2015:
“Si encuentras extraviado el buey o la oveja de tu hermano, no te desentenderás de ellos. Deberás devolverlos a tu hermano. Y si tu hermano no vive cerca de ti, o no lo conoces, recógelo en tu casa. Estará contigo hasta que tu hermano lo busque, y entonces se lo devolverás. Lo mismo harás con su asno, con su vestido y con toda cosa perdida que tu hermano haya perdido y que tú halles. No podrás desentenderte de ello. “No podrás ver caído en el camino el asno o el buey de tu hermano y desentenderte de ellos. Sin falta ayúdale a levantarlo. “La mujer no se vestirá con ropa de hombre ni el hombre se pondrá vestido de mujer; porque cualquiera que hace esto es una abominación al SEÑOR tu Dios. “Si encuentras en el camino, en algún árbol o en la tierra, el nido de un pájaro con polluelos o con huevos, y la madre está sobre los polluelos o sobre los huevos, no tomes la madre con los polluelos. Dejarás ir a la madre y podrás tomar para ti los polluelos, para que te vaya bien y prolongues tus días. “Cuando construyas una casa nueva, haz una baranda a tu azotea, para que no traigas culpa de sangre a tu casa, si alguien se cayera de ella.

En este capítulo podemos ver que los pequeños detalles cuentan delante de Dios. De nuestro trato y acciones hacia el ser, desde el más grande de nuestro prójimo hasta los animales más pequeños como los pajaritos. Detalles que parecieran insignificantes para los demás pero importantes para el Creador.

Si se extravía un animal y sabes que es de alguien, debes cuidarlo hasta que aparezca el dueño, o ayudar al animalito si lo ves atorado o lastimado.
Sentir compasión por la necesidad o el dolor ajeno se llama simpatía. Es entender que si ese animalito perdido fuera mío, yo quisiera que alguien me lo cuidara y no lo hurtara.
Pero algo más profundo que la simpatía es la empatía; es cuando alguien no solamente siente simpatía por la persona sino que toma una acción contundente para poder ayudar a esa persona que está en necesidad, ayudándole a rescatar su animalito o cuidarlo hasta que el dueño aparezca.

Es necesario que ejercitemos la virtud de la empatía, que es una cualidad que le agrada a Dios.
Como el buen samaritano que sintió compasión, y mostró simpatía y empatía al ayudar al hombre malherido, así debemos actuar.
¡Jesucristo nos vio con compasión, nos vio perdidos como ovejas sin pastor; y por eso Él mismo vino a pastorearnos, a mostrarnos el camino y a rescatarnos con sus propias manos! Dió hasta su propia vida para salvarnos del pozo lleno de lodo en el que habíamos caído.
Esa acción de ayudar a alguien a salir de un hueco o cuidar un animalito refleja el carácter del Señor, de buscar y salvar a todo aquel que lo llama, no importando su condición social, edad, raza o apellido.
Por último, no olvidemos poner barandas (valla o cerca) en el hogar por seguridad y protección. Establece reglas y principios morales claros en tu hogar, así ninguno caerá ni sufrirá un accidente cuando lo pongan en práctica. Como dice el dicho: es mejor prevenir que lamentar.

Deuteronomy 22:1-8:
“You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep going astray, and hide yourself from them; you shall certainly bring them back to your brother. And if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it to your own house, and it shall remain with you until your brother seeks it; then you shall restore it to him. You shall do the same with his donkey, and so shall you do with his garment; with any lost thing of your brother’s, which he has lost and you have found, you shall do likewise; you must not hide yourself.
“You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fall down along the road, and hide yourself from them; you shall surely help him lift them up again.
“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.
“If a bird’s nest happens to be before you along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, with the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young; you shall surely let the mother go, and take the young for yourself, that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days.
“When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring guilt of bloodshed on your household if anyone falls from it.

In this chapter we can see that the little details count before God. From our actions towards our neighbor and towards animals as small as little birds. Details that seem insignificant to others but important to the Creator.

We can see how God gives importance and value to each human gender: man and woman. That distinction is important now that we are living in times where so much confusion has arisen, and society is destroying itself by rejecting the importance of the two genders.
God also blesses everyone who respects the mom bird. The act of releasing her and setting her free counted before God as a compassionate action, and the Lord is pleased with a compassionate heart!
If an animal is lost and you know it belongs to someone, you must take care of it until the owner appears, or help the animal if you see it stuck or injured.
Feeling compassion for the need or pain of others is called sympathy. It is understanding that if that lost animal were mine, I would want someone to take care of it and not steal it.
But something deeper than sympathy is empathy; it is when someone not only feels sympathy for the person but also takes a forceful action to be able to help that person who is in need, helping them rescue their pet or take care of it until the owner appears.

It is necessary that we exercise the virtue of empathy, which is a quality that pleases God. Like the good Samaritan who felt compassion, and showed sympathy and empathy by helping the badly injured man, so we must act.
Jesus Christ saw us with compassion, He saw us lost like sheep without a shepherd; and that is why He Himself came to shepherd us, to show us the way and to rescue us with His own hands! He even gave His own life to save us from the muddy pit into which we had fallen.

That action of helping someone to get out of a hole or taking care of a little animal reflects the character of the Lord, of seeking and saving everyone who calls you, regardless of their social status, age, race or last name.
Finally, let's not forget to put railings (fence) in the home for safety and protection. Establish clear rules and moral principles in your home, so no one will fall or have an accident when they put it into practice. As the saying goes: it is better to be safe than sorry.
